I am going to share this recipe on the air . You can catch me this Sunday 8/30/10 from 7-8am on www.927kkuu.com.It is bathing suit season. Thinking about the skin I am in and my secret,silent battle of cellulite! I know I am not alone on this one.Cellulite has truly been my nemesis over the years. Mainly in the tush area. My secret to combat this silent enemy is coffee. This little ally of mine works on a short term basis. Caffeine is a diuretic which reduces the water in the body .The caffeine temporarily shrinks and reduces the appearance in cellulite. Its acidic, which tones the skin some too.It’s a bit on the messy side so do this treatment is the shower.
1/4 cup ground coffee
1/4 cup sugar(any kind will do)
Olive oil to desired consistency-(contains antioxidants)
*option 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa (softens skin)
Use in a vigorous circular motion in the areas needed. Rinse and pat dry.

If I have learned anything this past year it is that you must love you. Love the skin you are in.Love your choices.I am in this awkward place. I am in the middle of a divorce.I have never felt so exposed,raw.I am realizing that love could come in the form of no.No as in, No! I won’t let you treat me this way. I deserve honesty and the most loving choice for me is to leave.Never thought I’d be here but I am.I am choosing to love the skin I am in to the core.
I am here.I am taking this time to rebuild.I look forward to doing my at home spa treatments.I have found this mind/body connection.Yes, I am working on the outside of me but my mind and heart feel the benefits .(Lately,my mind and heart are what need the most attention.)
I am looking forward to the new year. I am working on a skincare line to add to this site as well as a book.I am excited for the new.I hope you feel my love as I wish you the best.
